## Certification Tiers

- **AI Associate** ($495): Foundational applied AI competency certification. Covers AI fundamentals, tool literacy, prompt crafting, and responsible AI use. Entry-level certification for business professionals beginning their AI journey.
- **AI Practitioner** ($1,250): Intermediate applied AI competency certification. Builds on Associate with advanced prompt engineering, workflow automation, evaluation harnesses, and decision analysis. Requires AI Associate credential as prerequisite.
- **Certified AI Practitioner** ($1,500): Advanced applied AI competency certification. Includes governance, communication, and portfolio-level real-work demonstration. Requires AI Practitioner credential as prerequisite.
- **Full Certification Package** ($2,995): Complete 24-week curriculum spanning all three tiers sequentially. Comprehensive AI competency certification for professionals seeking end-to-end mastery.

## Certification Process

1. **Application**: Submit an application via the public portal with background, role, and pathway interest.
2. **Acceptance**: Human-reviewed acceptance by the Managing Authorizer. No auto-accept, no auto-decline.
3. **Enrollment & Payment**: Accepted applicants activate enrollment via payment or promo code redemption.
4. **Onboarding**: Complete terms acknowledgment, pathway selection, and orientation.
5. **Learning Lab**: Progress through curriculum modules and interactive scenario-based practice exercises.
6. **Portfolio Submission**: Submit real-work portfolio pieces for human reviewer evaluation.
7. **Review & Credential Issuance**: Certified reviewers evaluate portfolios against rubrics. Approved candidates receive a verifiable credential with a public verification token.

## Key Principles

- **Human-reviewed, not auto-graded**: All certification decisions involve certified human reviewers. AI is advisory only — it never passes, fails, or certifies a candidate.
- **Real-work portfolios**: Candidates submit actual work from their professional context, not synthetic test scenarios.
- **Dual-approval governance**: Canonical curriculum, rubrics, and pathways require dual approval (platform operator + Designated Authority).
- **Vendor-neutral**: Curriculum and resources are independent of any AI vendor. Vendor-sourced content is disclosed.
